Get a smoother skin with Botox® treatment

WHAT ARE BOTOX INJECTIONS AND FILLERS?

Botox® injection is administered with a small needle into the facial muscles responsible for fine lines and wrinkles. Botulinum toxin injections will relax your face muscles, reducing the visibility of facial wrinkles when you contract your facial muscles. Botox is injected into frown lines, forehead lines, and crow's feet, and it may also alleviate excessive sweating, migraine, gummy smile, marionette lines, bunny lines, and teeth grinding.

Botox fillers are employed to naturally fill in wrinkles, reconfigure the volume of the lips, augment the fullness of your cheeks, fill hollow temples, and enhance the jawline. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring component within the human body that makes the skin smooth and resilient. Our body creates hyaluronic acid, but this process will gradually decline, leading to sagging skin and wrinkle formation. The volume loss can be repaired with the use of hyaluronic acid injections. Fillers can be used to treat frown lines, nasolabial folds, and thin lips.

Neurotoxins, such as Xeomin®, Botox facial®, and Dysport®, are prescribed medications that block the release of chemicals that cause these muscle contractions.

BOTOX®

Botox and beauty have always been together. It has been used as a therapeutic technique for more than 17 years to treat various medical conditions. Botox is a purified form of Botulinum Toxin Type A. It has been proven to reduce the effects of facial aging, such as crow’s feet, frown lines, and other complexion issues.

What causes frown lines between the brows?

The lines between the brows result from muscle movement and time passage. When muscles between the brows contract, they draw the brows together, causing the skin to fold or furrow. As skin becomes less elastic with age, folds or creases result in stubborn lines

How do botulinum toxins work?

During treatment, shallow doses of Botox® and botulinum toxin are administered via a few small injections directly into the muscles, which causes frown lines. Blocking the release of a chemical enables the relaxation of the muscles. The effects are very confined. When administered by an experienced practitioner, it does not affect your ability to smile, laugh, or show expression

What are the general side effects of botox injection?

The common side effects after injection include temporary eyelid droop and nausea.

How to prepare for botox injection?

Botox preparation is not much of a hassle. The injection is a quick and minimally invasive procedure consisting of a few tiny injections. Your professional injector will determine exactly where to administer these injections to achieve the best results for you. No anesthesia is required, though we may choose to numb the area with a cold pack or anesthetic cream before injecting. The entire procedure takes about 10 minutes. Discomfort is minimal. Localized pain, infection, inflammation, tenderness, swelling, redness, or bleeding may be associated with the injection.

What to do after botox injections?

The objective of Botox aftercare is to promote optimal treatment outcomes. Additionally, it can reduce the likelihood of scarring and spreading to other places. The day you receive Botox, it is generally advisable to:

  • Carefully exercise your face
  • Rest all of the day after treatment
  • Maintain a regular heart rate.
  • Avoid touching, rubbing, and applying direct pressure on the injured area.

Where not to inject botox?

The Frontalis Muscles: In front of the head are the muscles. The muscles above the eyebrows are responsible for eyebrow elevation and wrinkle formation in the forehead. Therefore, it is not advised to inject Botox into the frontalis muscles. If you receive an injection in this area, you run the chance of developing the Mephisto Effect or Spock Brows. Your brows will have an uncomfortable and unnatural arch.

Incorrect Region of the Orbicularis Muscle: This muscle can be found in the upper and lower eyelids. Its primary purpose is to help you shut and open your eyes and drain tears. The wrong portion of this muscle may be injected when treating crow’s feet. For instance, if an injection is administered too near to the orbital bone, this will damage the muscles of your upper eyelids, causing them to droop.

Chin Muscles: Consider a Botox treatment if your chin develops dimples or wrinkles. The injection will eliminate the creases on your chin and make you appear younger. However, botox injections into the chin’s muscles are dangerous and might distort your smile. For instance, it can create an imbalance between the lower lip muscles. The result will be a distorted smile and/or a lisp.

Around the Mouth and Lips: An injection of Botox around the mouth may damage the arteries that provide blood to the lips. You will feel swelling and agonizing soreness as a result.

Upper Skin Layer: It will be ineffective if the drug does not reach the target muscles. The result is that your skin will be injured for nothing. Your muscles will continue to constrict, and you will develop wrinkles.

Our professionals at Beauty Art Center are the most knowledgeable about their respective fields. Therefore, you should not worry about receiving an injection in an inappropriate location

How often should you get botox?

It varies on your age, the severity of your wrinkles, and how prolonged the treatments typically last. The typical duration of Botox’s efficacy is approximately four months, though individual patient experiences vary. After this time, your natural face lines will begin to reappear.

Consider scheduling a Botox treatment every 12 weeks if you are in your twenties and using Botox as a precautionary measure. Otherwise, a continuous series of injections administered every 12 to 16 weeks is probably adequate. With no downtime required, you can immediately resume your normal activities and feel the benefits for months.

Most common Botox FAQs :

Will I be able to make facial expressions?

Although you may see a marked improvement, treatment with botulinum injection does not make you look like you’ve done something to your face. The muscle activity that causes frown lines is decreased, so you can still show expressions without the wrinkles and creases between your brows.

How soon will I see a difference?

You can see the results within a few days after your treatment, and the look of the area between your brows will steadily improve for up to a week.
