WHAT TO EXPECT WITH HAIR RESTORATION:

Blood is drawn in our office as though you have a routine blood test. It is then spun in a centrifuge, and the PRP is separated and removed from the rest of the blood. It would be best to be well hydrated (drink lots of water) before your visit to maximize the amount of plasma we can yield from your blood draw. Photos of the treatment area will be taken before the procedure starts

After the skin of the scalp has been numbed, the highly concentrated platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is delivered to the dermis using the Microneedling pen, and an additional quantity of PRP is injected into the scalp.

The hair restoration procedure (not including blood draw or numbing time) takes approximately 40 minutes.
It is suggested to be performed every 4 to 6 weeks for three procedures.
Maintenance would then be one treatment once or twice a year for most clients.

Patients with a history of heavy smoking and drug and alcohol use. Medical diagnoses include platelet dysfunction syndromes, thrombocytopenia, hypofibrinogenemia, hemodynamic instability, sepsis, acute and chronic Infections, chronic liver disease, anticoagulation therapy, chronic skin diseases or cancer, and metabolic and systemic disorders.
